Balancer bolt ?
Is an ARP bolt recommended when swapping the balancer or will the GM bolt do? If ARP is the way to go where can I order just the bolt?

Go fast, please.

The GM bolt will work, just don't reuse the old one because it is a TTY bolt and you run the risk of it breaking...
With that being said, the ARP bolt seems to be the better buy.... I bought the ARP bolt from here: http://weaponxmotorsports.myshopify....ngine-234-2503 29.00 shipped. That was the cheapest I could find it. |

ARP is the way to go... You'll need a 1-1/16th 12-point socket, 250# torque wrench and a way to hold the crank from turning over if its an Automatic, manual you can use first gear and e-brake.
I bought mine from Ted @ Jannettyracing.com

I went with the ARP. Just installed my balancer this past weekend. It will need torqued to 235 ft lbs. I bought a 3/4" torque wrench from harbor freight. I also had a flywheel holding tool that i snagged on eBay.
