Daily drivers, rotate thru the Hondas and the GMC.
the V45 Magna gets 45 or so. the little Honda gets 60 mpg The 5.3 is getting 19 mpg in town ( no red lights ) the mustang is finally running, needs more wiring for gauges etc... new(rebuilt) 302 with a Holley 650 to replace the 1 barrel carb 2.3 4 cyl. I will have my Grandmother's 1998 civic ( 36 mpg ) once the will/ paperwork is done so I can drive it on base....... 29 mpg in town. and it has a factory rice wing

I was headed home and had right of way on a two lane road. I saw the lights of the car as it came to a complete stop at her stop sign off on the right side of the road. But, as I was getting ready to pass like any other situation, the car began pulling out to make a left in front of me. I slammed on the brakes pulling hard left (thank God there was no oncoming traffic) and we met at the corners of our cars. Had I gone straight, I would have T-boned her and probably sent her to the hospital. But, she was 16, was grounded, snuck out of the house w/out mom knowing, AND took moms Volvo. Needless to say, the hole she had already dug for herself just got about 100 feet deeper...and filled w/ _____. Can you say, "Ouch???" And Joe, yes. The only difference between my V6 and V8 were the model year and the drivetrain. All else was the same. Oh, and the painted roof on my V6.....and wheel size...16's vs. 17's. |

i think the camaro won that won, all it looks like it needed to drive was a wheel, the Volvo... probably a little more work.
the windshield would be annoying but my dad drove with a worse one before

OOOOhhhh, that Camaro needed 12,700 in repairs! The rear axle was all out of whack. The back right tire was up against the rear fender, ...heck, you can see it all. My Z28 was totalled out.

I was pretty pissed off at her until.... Her parents were divorced and remarried...all 4 showed up. Mom was being a bee-otch to her. I could understand. But, I was like.....check out the car.....now, go give her a hug and thank your lucky stars above she's standing in front of you. The others weren't mean to her, expressed they were happy she was okay, but dang...
