Pzeros are a directional tire. The front and rear are the same tire aside from the size.

I think you may want to look again. Front and rear are different size but they only say Outside on them There is no arrow of direction. If you look at your left and right tire the tire would be the same if you put them side by side. i know on Tire Rack somewhere this will be verified!

Yup...that would mean they're directional. Could be wrong but I don't think so. It says outside for a reason. Because it would guarantee they mounted correctly. Because they could get mounted backwards and therefore not be spinning in the right direction.

The tires are marked "inside" and "outside", but not "right" and "left". So you are wrong |

I'm learning something new today. I always thought PZeros were directional as if I rotated left to right and right to left without remounting they would be going in the opposite/wrong direction even though they would both say outside.

Okay. Go ahead and mount them so they rotate backwards when you're driving and tell me how you like them.

Pirelli does make directional tires but the stock ones that come on our cars are not. They do have an outside and they do need to be mounted correctly. Outside of tire is marked, so you mount them on the wheels outside. When you rotate the wheels and tires, the outsides are still on the outsides. They do spin the opposite direction. But they are not directional so this is ok. The owners manual would not say to rotate side to side if they were directional.

Sorry for the misinformation. |

So, if they are not directional, it would not make any difference if I mount one with the "outside" letters facing out and the other side facing in, correct?

The tires would roll just fine but handling/cornering would be screwed up. Not a good idea to do this. Designed for the outside to be on the outside.

Why would you want to mount them backwards anyhow?? They are marked inside and outside for a reason. If it didn't matter they wouldn't specify.
