I just noticed, since the inception of this "Z/28 Forum", there have been 92,000 visits...

Do you think there's genuine interest in such a BOSS-basher?

It should, but I think his comment is based around the idea that once the ZL1 is out, there will be more people looking for something different aka a Z28.

Ya but the Z28 was NEVER more powerful than the ZL1..... so I highly doubt that this Z28 will be more powerful than the ZL1..... If you want to make sure you can own a "Boss-Basher", then you buy a ZL1....

Do I think the phantom Z28 will beat the Boss some day, yes, but that is the fanboy in me.

I just realized I quoted the wrong post in the previous post... I just corrected it....lol

While the original Z/28 was never more powerful than the ZL1, the ZL1 was focused as a 1/4 mi monster while the Z/28 was focused as a track car, two entirely different missions. And a Z/28 would outhandle a ZL1 on the twisties. It remains to be seen how the new ZL1 will handle on the twisties, it has plenty of power and should handle well, but for now that's all on paper and we have not seen what it will do in the real world.
