Do you foresee any potential "bumps in the road" b/c of the pollution/inspection laws?
The whole aftermarket turbo area is new to me and I want to be well informed regarless of the F/I set up that I use.
What about the cats?
Can they or is there something that will still hold up when you are putting 1000+ or even 800 to the rear wheels and still pass emissions?
You are asking about the letter of the law vs. the intent. No system is legal at 800hp. Are there systems that will pass a sniffer test at 800 rwhp?, Perhaps. Our system has provsions to install cats downstreamof the turbos. It is an option that can be ordered. It will pass the sniffer test but technically it is still not to the letter of the law - just the intent

STS kits are not 50 state legal either - it goes back to what I just said - legal vs "well it should pass"

Allow me to jump in. Tial rates their springs based on there test fixture and gauge - They do it based on what they deem as see level at their factory - they really don't know what the waste gate is going to be attached to. We like to run the stiffest spring and then use the a dial to turn up the boost - this way when you back all the way off you have the least amount of pressure (boost)

Feel free to give them a call at the shop with any questions you might have.
The more I learn about this and its potential the more I keep looking at this kind of set up..............

It continues to amaze me. Ford guys think their shit is so great. Why then do you need DOHC and 4 valves per cyl. plus forced air to beat a production pushrod engine with 2 valves per cyl. Face it, when it comes down to it Ford just can't compete. New slogan for the Mustang. "You can't fix stupid"!

There is good information here. Thanks for the input.
Other options:
I see the GMS kit offers an air to air intercooler. Most others are doing the same.
Considering air to air vs air to water intercoolers, which is more practical for the street? Aren't there any air to water that work on the street? Just wondering.
It gets miserable hot in Houston.

Air-to-water is more efficient at transferring heat per unit size, but air-to-air is the simplest and there are many already made for the 2010 Camaro. Unless you are shooting for extremely high HP, personal opinion is to go with air-to-air on the street.

Sounds good. 1K RWHP ~ 1.2K Crank HP.

Well, if you feel you would like a killer Air-to-Air Intercooler for your Camaro, I had an incredible one built for the SST, but decided to switch to an Air-to-Water because of all the racing I will be doing. It may be a little overkill, but if you decide on twin turbos and are interested you can PM me.
