Here is a reference. The 140mm seemed to be the right fit for my setup.. (ice-olator, 2 oem gaskets)

Thanks Rfa, good info (and nice pic!).
And since you obviously do things right- I'll suggest a flat washer under your bolts, the OEM are flanged so they don't require one. It doesn't really matter, but the last couple ft/lbs of torque go a little smoother with one!

Now that all this is said and done, I can definitely say that Jays ported intake and the iceolator KICK MUCH BUTT!
I can't help but wonder if I should have went with the 1" spacer though...

Thanks for ur info, it helped alot!
I am doing a black ice with 2 oem gaskets, also rx plenum spacer with 2 set of gaskets(x-wing and square). According to Tracy, 150mm with only black ice and 160 with black ice and plenum spacer. But it seems too long as shown in your picture, I think 150mm will be a better suit for black ice and plenum spacer. Any thought? Thanks! |

BTW, how about the other 2 bolts, are they the same length as the 4 go through the plenum cover? Thanks!

I believe all 4 bolts were the same.
And I would listen to Tracy over me. All I can say is in my case, the 150mm seemed too long.

Thanks for ur advise.
There are total 6 bolts go into the head, I am wondering the other 2 bolts, are they same length as the 4 bolts we talked about here? |

And the 6th bolt is the only one on top outside the plenum cover or lid. I'm pretty sure it's slightly shorter than the plenum cover bolts- just about 125mm. When I installed my 1st Mace 25mm, I used this bolt to replace the shorty in back and it worked great.

Thanks for your info. It's really nice to know the actual length.
I am doing a RX Black Ice and a RX Plenum Spacer installation, don't wanna use the stock bolts since they will only have about 5mm thread left to hold strength. Quote:
