what is the average time from acceptance to delivery?

Today, I just got confirmation from GM that my ordered 2011 Camaro 2SS has been accepted.

Now, since it has been accepted, what is the average time from acceptance to delivery when you order a Camaro?

This waiting is absolutely KILLING me!!!!!!

Mine took 5 weeks. I got it a week after she was built.

I was told by my dealer this week that the average now is about 45-60 days for delivery to customer. I'm in MN, so not too far from you.

You may be pushing it, but you are in better shape being in the northern states.

They will probably still honor your coupon....your intention was to order/purchase the vehicle which is what you did, it's a sale either way. That would be bad PR if they didn't honor that because of how manufacturing/shipping worked out.

It's a GM Supplier Coupon and it expires on Sept 7th and I MUST take delivery NLT than the 7th. Says it right on the front.

They won't honor because they won't get their "bonus" from GM for letting me use an expired coupon.

If my Camaro isn't here by the coupon expiration, I'll just save my money and keep my Monte SS.

Well yeah I did that too, but the orders were not placed til 3/16/09.

Ordered mine 05/28/09. Was told they had some initial problems with the V8's, then Oshawa closed for two weeks in July, then there was a color constraint (CGM), then in October, they began adding the backup sensors to existing orders, then my order "fell out of the system", car built 12/4/09 - delivered to dealership 12/19/09 - picked up 12/22/09.

Yes, one week shy of seven long darn months, but HIGHLY worth the wait. Still can't believe I have a Camaro in my garage. She's 7 months mine today and she's got 6,600 miles on her (and begging for more).. Lori

So you will not take delivery if your coupon expires? Dude, while that is a nice discount, this car is SO worth it. I would never give my car up.

My car was built the week of June 28 and I took delivery on July 14th...but keep in mind Im in Canada only 13 hours away from the plant.

Why would you do that? Your already spending how much on it? It's a camaro. Like said before it's really worth every penny base don what I've seen and heard and read. Don't do that to yourself. You will hate yourself later on.
