Buy a 100shot of NOS and beat a SS even if modded, cause if he isnt running a sticky tire, you are heading down the track while he plays sit and spin

That is why I'm heading a different route. I'm looking for a better balanced all around car, instead for a drag strip monster. Since the zeta2 platform is the same no matter if you have a v8 or v6, the R&D on the suspension is is the same across the board. That is why the direction I'm going is road course, and auto x. Maybe boost in the future but for now bolt on, and weight saving is on order.

I keep explaining to everyone that I did have a chance to buy a LS3/SS, but I went with the six because there aren't enough hardcore v6 people out there, and I wanted to show what the 6s can do. Eventually I'll pony up the cash for a 1LE, but for now. My LLT is doing it for me.

Isn't this pointless though because the llt has a heat soak flaw were the in the LFX the issue was corrected.

Functions like an engine, looks like an engine, sounds like an engine, but it's still probably not an engine.

There is probably some low-end torque and maybe some HP to be gained from the increased runner length. Guess well see how much it is when Jason get's done with his testing.

LFX Already Tweaked From the Factory...

Gee, girls and boys, my LFX has over 20 more HP (less seat of the pants torque tho') than my 2006 Mustang GT Convertible (a fine, fun car!). The Camaro is not quite as quick off the line, but wound up, the V6 has plenty of get up and go...I am looking at gas mileage and balanced performance now and the V6 is a modern Grand Touring Vehicle. I might install an Injen Cold Air Intake (I REALLY want a highway cruiser with 30 mpg+) after I break it in, but from the factory, this car is WAY fun! AND QUIET ! (I like quiet)
ANY EXCUSE TO GO FOR A RIDE, I WILL TAKE ...GROCERIES, LAUNDRY, GAS, COSTCO, ....

Super charger, Turbos, Headers (for LLT), Intake, Ported TB & IM all seem like decent mods to me...

They already sell throttle bottle spacers though.

Not sure I see the connection between a TB spacer and increased intake runner length.

Most people do not buy the V6 with the intention of modifying it for performance. If they did want performance, most will opt for the SS. It's this way with just about every "base" model vehicle. Most V6's will spend their whole life in stock form, where most SS's will at least do a few things to it. So to put it simple, the market is just not there the way it is for the SS.

Best regards,

Tyler

Supply and Demand.

V8 owners want to mod, V6 owners dont.
