Turbocharged and 3.91s. Who has this combo?

The other night at the track I did 11.6... I was hoping to do 3.91s.... although I do know everyone says to go 373 with forced induction and auto..but im curious if anybody has this done with a 3100 stall and force. Induction??

I wouldn't recommend 3.91's with a turbo setup. You're asking for tire spin when boost hits, and I think you'd probably be slower in the quarter. As you've probably heard a thousand times, turbos like load, and higher gears create more load. I changed from 3.73 to 3.23, and I do think I'm a bit faster down the strip. Both gearing has been a blast - and I can easily light the tires up to 90mph on the street with the 3.23's.

I have 3.45s in my boosted 416 and it still lights up the tires at 70 Mph. 3.23s would be it. I had 3.91s and it was spin city...

I had 3.91s and went 3.27 with my twin turbo setup. 3.91s made about every gear up to fourth useless.
