Swapped out stock rotors yesterday!
After reading posts from other Camaro owners and their use of Racing Brakes I ordered a set for my ZL1. This will pacify me as I briefly thought of waiting and installing the Z28 ceramic rotors and much more practical in cost. The nice thing is the rears are upgraded from a single disc to a separate two piece like the fronts. The use of the stock hand brake is also retained! My apologies as far as high resolution these were taken with an iPhone.

Niceeeeee. I'll probably get the carbon ceramic ones when I need to replace mine.

Been wanting to do this, just can't justify the money when mine only have 5 k on them. Gonna have to wait till the get down some. Fronts are $1300, and backs are about same, not including new brake setup.

Still using the stock pads, the originals only had 4500 miles on them. Breaking them in (seasoning the rotors) the same as when changing pads. Used progressive stops. It feels about the same, pedal feels a bit stiffer but have to take into account that is only on the street where the pads and rotors aren't used to their maximum as they will on the track.

I will need some soon. I have 4500 miles on mine and already have a big lip on the edge on my rotors. This after already having to buy a new set of tires. Damn this car is heavy.
