Got 3.91 1LE Ring and Pinion

So I went and bought some gears on GMPartsDirect and lo and behold, they don't answer the phone nor do they answer e-mails. So, I'm stuck here with these gears and can't do anything with em. Is there anybody out there looking for a ring and pinion set? I really need to get these sold before I deploy.

whats wrong with them? Why are you selling? Why not wait to put them in until you are back from deployment?

That being said I may want them

There's nothing wrong with them at all. I sold my Camaro way back and couldn't return em. They're still brand new. I'm offering $400 obo for them at the moment. I'm leaving soon, living with roommates and possibly not coming back to the same location as I am right now.

Just an FYI. Pace performance has these for $233.68 plus $43.71 for UPS ground shipping.

Pace website says 404 not found for everything you click on. Do they really sell the 3.91 for under $300

I purchased mine for about 220 and another 200 for the master installation kit. If u paid over 250 u paid too much.

For the people on here that are more knowledgeable than myself, don't the kits that are priced around the same $$ from RDP and such come with a trans tune from GM once theyre installed. Isnt that what makes the deal for those guys?

Also - would you still need the overhall/install kit with this or is that what the extra stuff he has is for?

I have a question as well.

Is the ring and pinion gear set something that a tuner, such as RDP, can tune for after install or does this have to go to GM for proper calibration?

Tune gets done at local chevy dealer, but its paid for a part of your kit. Atleast that's what I have read

GM and any tuner can update your tune

both but dynoSteves tune also wakes your car the f UP! for a low mileage car this is all you need, when I did mine I also did all of the bearings due to high mileage(way more work!) but the peace of mind and whisper quiet rear after 1k miles so far is worth it! plus this is OEM gear set...almost a drop in swap(hahaha)..
