Does anyone know the release date of the 1969 Camaro SS?

I don't have an actual date, but Chevrolet built 4,825 Camaros at the Los Angeles plant in September, 1968 and 2,310 Camaros at the Norwood plant. I do not believe that Chevy kept records on which models were built, but certainly the SS was being built from the beginning in the 69 model year.
