Dash update and your opinion?
Hey guys... Here is my dash after the RS emblem I posted about several weeks ago.
Should I add the '69 Camaro dash emblem also? Or does it make it too crowded? (Please ignore scotch tape and it not being level (The tape wouldn't stick to the plastic dash.) |

Just a heads up
You'll probably have to heat up the RS badge with some heat in order for it to stick flat on the dash. The way the dash is "curved" the emblem won't curve with it. I had to heat my SS badge up and use a 3M prep pad for it to stick. I also cleared mine with a flat clear so it did't have the chrome around the edges. There really isn't much chrome in our interiors...it's more silver which looks 10X better than that tacky plastic chrome plating! BTW, if you like the old school "Camaro" badge...go for it!

I'd be more worried about a passenger bumping it off there...what about if you put it up in front of the RS? i like the camaro badge, was thinking about putting it on mine somewhere too

I thought about just the Camaro only... But my mother and uncle said the RS only looked the best.

My uncle suggested both on there together... but his thought was to put the RS below and to the right of the Camaro logo on the bottom right of the dash. (not on the trim piece)

hmm yeah, if you're not worried about the possibility of it getting knocked off...i could see putting both pieces down where you have the camaro badge. imho, if you're going to have both badges, they should be relatively close together. that's what i would do, but i don't know how much real estate you've got before the curvature of the dash would make both badges together impossible

I think it would look sweet if you put the Camaro where the RS is at and scrapped the RS badge altogether, but thats just my 2 cents
