Joining the IPF V6 gang

Yep, this is my first post, and yes, I just ordered my IPF SC. A shop here is Alabama, Speed South, will be doing the install, tune and dyno testing. In addition to the SC and CAI, they are going to install the MRT V2 exhaust, Eibach pro-street coilovers and front and rear sway bars/bushings. When they are done it's off to the body shop for a new hood and some paint. This is the before pic and I will update things as they move along. I'm quite excited and thanks to all of you and your posts for some great research and information.

Awesome to hear! Sounds like a great sheet of mods to come, and I'm looking forward to seeing it come alive

Very nice and congrats. IPF is easily the best FI option for these cars

Best for what, really? It certainly is the easiest. It's reversible and doesn't leave a footprint if you remove it, for the most part. But it isn't even close to the IPS turbo set-up as far as HP/TQ.

mtnaire67, one comment in your post (welcome and congratulations, by the way) makes me ask: You stated the shop that's doing this install is also going to perform the tune. Do you mean they're going to install IPF's tune or are they going to attempt their own? I suggest the former. Having them attempt to tune the LLT with a S/C on their own is not a great idea.

Sorry, When I say best I wasn't talking purely HP numbers.

And for purely legal reasons, we have to refer to it as a "club," not a "gang."

Haha

John, They are going to use IPF's tune. They have had some issues with Trifecta in the past so they called and talked with IPF about their tune since it will be their first install with this SC. I will know more about the ability to fine tune and tweaks once Speed South gets the software and they analyze it and run the car on the dyno. And for "Legal" reasons, I'm looking forward to being a member of the "club".
