just like any car deals are out there. dealers around here had them for invoice in july $43k with a 48k sticker. "Mullinax Ford". You could always get an SS for 33k and put 10K into it to make it road course ready like the boss.

The only thing I like about it is that it has cutouts from the factory! now that's awesome.

Could you point me in the direction of this race between the 2011-2012 GT500 vs the Boss302 where the Boss won? The 2011-2012 GT500 PP has yet to be tested at Laguna Secca, the only lap time there was with the old heavy iron block 2010 model with crap tires. This is the only compo I could find and the GT500 was still the victor. The Ultimate Mustang Track Test - Inside Line I would trade my GT500 today for a Laguna Secca edition Boss302. It just has so many cool features over my GT500 PP like dual mode exhaust, launch control, track key with lumpy idle, 180mph speedo, adjustable dampers, adjustable steering input and Recaro's. |

Umm...I love the Boss..but I do not want one. I respect it completely, love what Ford did with it, and cannot wait to see how the General and Dodge respond.

No doubt, Joe, not to mention the "factory" tune that makes the car more agressive without having to go to an aftermarket tuner and risk the warranty. However I think Ford may be more lenient with tunes and warranty work. Can any of our Mustang "friends" chime in on that?

The only thing I'd trade my Camaro in for is another Camaro.

I never understood ford hate. Mustangs and Camaros, Tahoes and explorers are all made from the same plastic, metal and basic ingredients. I have owned 2 explorers and they were great trucks. Ya, I favor GM and have owned more of them but thats due to the looks of the vehicles. I would drive a boss in a heartbeat. I Wouldn't trade my SS, but would buy a 302 for sure if I had the cash. To say one of these American car companies is vastly superior then the other is idiotic IMO.

Love my camaro.. Won't trade it.. I do however live across from a guy that has a boss and it is a very capable car. Def deserves respect on the street. Having said that the only ford I'll own is a company truck because they suck to work on. GM has the right idea of easy to work on. My choice of GM over ford is based on that alone.
