Well since I am deployed and in need of some entertainment as well, I am going to jump in here...

So you should add the disclaimer the tires were new when you left, however, you also left your car (and your keys) with your buddy. All I can say is before I left I saw that car on the race track more in those few months than I did when you were driving it in the previous year! He did say something about putting the car on jack stands and running it in reverse for a few days to take the miles off the odometer. It doesn't work on vintage Ferrari's but pretty sure it does on new Camaros!

Seriously though, not to steal from Dave's original purpose, he is one of the most meticulous car guys I know. If you buy these tires you are getting as close to new as you can. He takes care of his stuff!
