Pretty much any header is gonna perform well. Very little difference between them. Most go with 1 7/8"s. I wouldn't get anything but SS. Some can come coated. I love my Corsa. Worth every penny. Intake is a bigger choice because there are a lot of good ones but CAI's seems to be the most popular choice. I would also recommend a Jannetty Racing Tuner. You'll be very happy.

Intake definately get Cold Air Inductions intake. As far as exhaust, sit on youtube and listen for what you want. Or wait for out huge meet in Rhode island in June. then you can hear a bunch of our different setups.
Also keep in mind if you put long tube headers on your car the powertrain warranty will be void due to having to "tune" the computer to get the check engine lights not to go one with long tube headers. Just an fyi

I did the Stainless works 3" retro catback with a set of Solo performance High flow cats. And it made it loud, ask a few other guys here in out NEC5 group that have heard it in person. The factory manifolds are very good flowing, so my suggestion is get a set of high flow cats and a nice catback. Below my sig picture is a link to my build thread, in my thread look for my section for exhuast, i got some photos and nice videos showing how my setup works. Hope this helps and good luck

You can get a decent gain from replacing the midpipe and very rarely has that caused a check engine light to trigger.

Im in the same boat except with an L99. I am leaning towards the solo catback because of the drone issue. Whats the verdict on how they sound?

The only issues I know of with L99 exhausts (of all types) is the AFM. I believe some people that choose not to tune their engines tend to go with an axel back system which leaves the stock center section intact to deal with the AFM sound.

Pypes is definitely the best systems on the market. Minimal drone and very throaty.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will order the catback soon and if it is not loud enough next time im in upstate ny I will have them throw high flows on it.

I'd do it right the first time. The High Flows give the sound the depth/bass...and it's a very legitimate power gain. I'm not the type of guy who gets his car dynoed just so he can jerk off to the results, but the horsepower gains are reportedly high teens.

It's been proven that a catback and or axle back have no gains in HP for ours cars. The high flows cats however do, with long tube headers giving the most power added.
