Camaro Side-by-Side Models Visual Comparison (V6 versus V8)

So in this thread, I would like to visually state the similarities and differences between the V6 and V8 models of the new Camaro.

All these pictures were taken off the Autoblog website for reference purposes only....

I did not take these pics, so If the camara angles are not the same, blame the Autoblog camera guy

First up....possibly the most important.....the front view....

Next is the rear quarter view.....

Followed by the rear view.......(eheh).....

How about some wheel comparison you ask?....well sure!

And last but deffinitely not least....the head on view....

These are just a small sample of pictures designed to show one thing...

BOTH CARS ARE AWESOME!!!

So dont hesitate to buy a V6 if you cannot afford the V8, as you can see, you will be getting alot more than you expect.

Thanks for posting this. I like the look and size of the rear diffuser on the SS better than the LT. It does a much better job of hiding the mufflers with that lower center section. I hope it is properly engineered so it doesn't flap around at highway speeds like the diffuser panels on some other GM vehicles (STS & G6 for example).

The back of that SS with the fatter exhaust is just sick! I can't wait to see that thing with the GMPP catback. This is worse than waiting for Christmas day!

But either way, I don't think any one will be disappointed with any model of this car.

Nice compilation! The V6 front shot looks like a Monster. LUV this car. Not a bad line on it.

I am going to order the GFX because I love the look of the square exhaust. I hate the fact that GFX only comes in gray, but I think it will still look good with a Black Camaro. If I don't like the look, I will fork over some $ and have it painted to match. I still can't figure out why GM can't paint the GFX b4 they ship them to the dealer or at least send the dealership the paint if needed.

The main thing I still sticks out as a crazy choice IMO is the choice to do a black plastic rear diffuser on the Camaro. This plastic cladding says "playskool" to me. Why not just continue the painted bumper? O well...I must be weird. Guess I will have to get over it.

I wish the milled aluminum looking gas door was kept from the prototype. Looked hot.
Overall, GM did a incredible job. So glad to see the re-birth of my favorite car.

I like the shape of the V6 diffuser better than that of the SS diffuser - I think it flows with the body lines much better. Plus, the flowmasters I'll be putting on will be much smaller than the stock mufflers, so they should be hidden just about perfectly.

And these shows definitely show me that I'll be getting some aftermarket exhaust tips at some point. Still haven't decided on the exact ones, but I'm leaning towards these.

I personally like the SS now more that I see them next to one another. To bad the rear deck like doesn't have the strips over them, it's going to hard telling them apart from the rear when they are at a distance.

Great comparison pics, all i think that i have to do right away is have my exhaust cans painted with some high heat paint (if thats possible) it really does bother me.
I wish they put out a IOM at one of the shows, its such a beautiful colour under stage lights

Great comparison! And yes, both cars look amazing. For wheel sizes I know the RS package gives you the 245 front and 275 back but do like the 19's give you any extra width over the standard 235(or at least I think that is standard)?

The V6 front looks great, perfect! The V8 front looks like theres something wrong with it, im still not used to it. Its the top dawg it should look better or at least more agressive, it fails.
