Talking Upgrades

Hello,

I will be upgrading my ZL1 cam and Supercharger pulleys and such.....

I was wondering what other Tweaks I should consider when I have the engine Tuned?

I know that there are allot of other parameters such as: Tire Size, Red Line..... Anyone have a list of best Tweaks?

Thanks

P.S. Where is the best Tuner in the Seattle Wa. area?

Number 1 thing to do first is properly calibrate the MAF table with a wideband O2. And if you are swapping pulleys the spark advance table will max out at 1.36 g/sec. That will have to fixed or else you have no control over spark advance at higher than stock boost levels. Once these couple things are done, then you can start tuning.

As long as you are taking it to a competent tuner you don't have to worry about bringing them a list. Anyone worth their salt is going to be addressing timing, fuel, power enrichment, torque management, rev/speed limiters, etc...so just choose a reputable shop and enjoy!

Question......How does a tune on the Z affect the 5 PTM modes? And are they adjusted with the tune as well? Is traction control also adjusted in the tune?

The PTM modes will operate the same...Just keep in mind after the tune your car will have more horsepower and will start to loose traction a bit easier then traction control will kick in....

100% if you need to tell the tuner what to tune, you need to find a different tuner.
