Memphis International Raceway Re-opens Test & Tune !

Wow! Awesome! Test & Tune at Memphis International Raceway started last night Aug 23, 2011 for the first time in two years! I was the first car at the gates and the first to win a race (Boy! Did I ever slaughter a Toyota MR2!) LOL! They're going to be running T&T every Tuesday and Thursday as well as midnight madness every Friday night from 9 pm to 2 am. I could not believe the traction! LS3 cars were launching at 3500 rpm with little spin. The temperature was murderous at 99 degrees at the start..humidity was high as well. My car normally runs easy 12.7s 110 with an occasional high 12.6 @ 111, could only muster a terrible 12.98 at 107. Interesting winning runs: C6 vette (13.2, Viper 13.2 (later improved to 12.6s, BMW tuned twin turbo 13.1) 3 other Gen 5 Camaro LS3s, running 13.2 - 13.6 including one SC car) You can see pics at MIR on Facebook.
