8-10 mpg but my avg. speed is under 20 because I don't go on highways a lot since my schools down the block. On highways it's around 15mpg

I guess I won't complain about my 22.5, but I live in a very rural area.

What I have learned if you drive like you have a prius you get good MPG. If you drive like you have a Camaro you get crappy MPG. But I am ok with crappy MPG.

I average around 18-19 depending on how I drive. When i'm just driving back and forth to work i'm doing lots of skip shifts, casually driving I almost never hit all 6 gears.
I'll do 1st -> 3rd -> 5th then sixth, or 2nd -> 4th -> 6th, or even though I have a skip shift eliminator I will actually do a 1st to 4th shift. It really does help fuel mileage to skip gears. If I don't skip gears I notice about a 2mpg average drop. |

You have a lot to learn about SS performance if you think they are only capable of mediocre fuel mileage.

Like a Prius? Not sure what you mean by that most the Prius near me drive like their hairs on fire. Weaving in out of traffic doing 15-25 MPH over the speed limit. I can only guess that cops don't pull them over because they are to busy laughing when they see them go by.

I would take the 1LE I don't mind, just that family doesn't know how to drive manual and I kinda went with that idea, plus at times it gets frustrating switching gears. All I say is that you gotta love the piece of art you're in whether manual or auto. Next car will be a Manual though Quote:
When I see one I just hear Jeff Dunham in my head saying "....I'mmmmm Gaaayyyy..." hahah

Drove from Minneapolis to New Brunswick, NJ to visit my girlfriend when she was at Rutgers.
I averaged 24.x MPG on the way there, and 25.x on the way back, until I got a challenge from an SRT8 through Wisconsin. |

I wouldn't use 5th and 6th gears much during break-in

It's fine as long as you don't lug the engine... And that applies to every gear..
