heard back from vince and he mentioned that maybe the coolant is having a hard time adjusting to the ghost cam effect and that maybe why the fan is going crazy.I'LL probably have it removed when i data log after header install in spring

Apparently this sale was a huge success! I ordered 12/23 and sent my specs 12/27. I have heard nothing since and now I'm out of town so I have no idea when I will get this tune installed. I'm order 216. Anyone else in this boat?

havent heard from that again!

but cables get shipped out Jan 4th

I think the Automatic tranny cars are having alot of issues with the Ghost Cam! Because I have not yet to see a M6 with any issues. Can it be because of all the extra programs it takes to tune the computer?

your fan doesnt go crazy? im a M6 too!

The manual cars are having the same issues. I did notice that my fan was turning on rather quickly lately while idling, but I didn't connect it to the ghost cam. I'll have to pay more attention to whether it's enabled when I notice it kicking on.

Nope I had my Ghost Cam on 24/7 and nothing ever went wrong. I never got the CEL code or engine shut off the first time like many. From what I have been seeing IMO it's owners with the automatic's having the issues!

One thing that needs to be asked to Vince is if he has adjusted the fans timing any from OEM. Because when I had my 2001 Malibu Supercharged the tune advanced the fans to kick on more often to keep things cool with the extra load on the engine. And this tune does put a extra load on these C5's. Or these newer computers do it automatically.

I just hope that once the tune is installed they will be far more available to receive the data log to retune if necessary. This fan issue has me concerned and now I'm almost second guessing the decision to purchase this tune. I have heard nothing so I wonder about future mods as well. I plan to add LT's and it seems like the service some talked about has left the building. I hope that's not the case but if I can't get a response to an email then I fear troubleshooting any potential issues after install. Hopefully the cables actually go out today.

Jerry from Bad News Racing has been great at getting back to me via email. I think with the holidays and the sheer volume of sales BNR and Trifecta are just trying to keep up with demand, so I wouldn't sweat it. I placed my order on Christmas (order 225) and waited to send my info until after the holidays, so I'm anticipating the process might take a bit.

I missed out on this deal but pm'd BNR late last night, I got an immediate response and was so impressed that I went ahead and dropped the hammer on it ... even with the higher price. I don't mind paying a bit more when the customer service is there.

This may have been asked, but does the Trifecta Tune work on the 2012 V6? I know that there are some changes to the motor?
