Unhappy My month old car already broke

First off, when I first got my car it would make a clunking noise whenever I would shift. I thought it was because it was a new car. Turns out I was very wrong. Last night I went out with some friends to eat and the car would even shake when I would start moving. Finally, when I went to go
make a u-turn my car didn't move when I was trying to accelerate. The engine would just rev. When the tow truck came and they lifted up the car all my transmission fluid came out and it turns out a link in some tubing was not tightened correctly from the factory and it just kept getting looser and looser until this happened. I expect this shouldn't take that long to fix but I am still camaroless

Wow, second one with tranny issues..Maybe this is something we all need to keep and eye on.

I hope everyone considering heavy mods considers this prior to those mods.

That really sucks!

Hope they get it fixed soon and you are out enjoying a night with the friends soon. You will have to make that up to them and show them what the Camaro can do with a good transmission.

If it was meant to have a front license plate, there would be an area for it. Hence, no front license plate officer.

I will make the thread tomorrow once my car is taken to the dealer (it is currently at a towing yard :( ... Kinda depressing actually)

And just so everyone knows the problem is not a problem that this specific transmission has. It was just not put together correctly. I am 99% sure that this problem will not be that common.

I have had the same issue since day 1. I had back 4 days after I bought it because it didn't sound right, but they insisted it was normal. Now, I also hear a "click" when releasing the clutch 95% of the time, and I may actually hear some slight chatter coming from the clutch. I told myself that I'd let it go until I'm done with the 1500 mile break-in, and take it back if it didn't go away. I'm dropping it off on Thursday. Keep us posted on what happens and I'll do the same.

This issue and the paint leave me wanting more in terms of quality.

Every GM stick car Ive owned (This car, 2k vette, 99 TA) let out an audible clunk from the clutch outside the car, usually i can only notice it when stopped. I just ignore it.

Just remember the M6 is made by Tremec, not GM. Subcontractor parts failures DO occur.. Not fun, but it happens. They will fix it.
