ticked ticked , tap tap tap.

Cold weather got ya down?? nothing like a ticked tapp coming from the very front of a engine to warm ya up.. any ideas guys. gona take a look ASAP when I get home... dont think its a headder, and this squeeky belt is gona have to have some belt dressing big time.. Its very consistant. Herd it at the drive through window night before last, and had no time to look around.. warming up a bit knew i should have already R&R those lifters..............

Don't put belt dressing on it
if your serious don't do it. Belt dressing softens the belt and it breaks it down, then chunks come off and get stuck in the pulleys.

Remove the belt clean the pulleys and install a new belt.

hmmm, eather the above has happened, thrown a chunk or , CRAP, my AC clutch it making this sound.... taking the belt off in a bit.. but I put a couple drops of turbin oil on the back side of the AC cluch assimbily and it stoped for a good long wile, 3 hrs guess. then slowly came right back.... hmmm never tore into one of these.... whatch guys think????

DUST in the AC clutch assimbly. I blew it out with break parts cleaner and then air. the noise has been gone fo some time now. just thought i would up this to help out the next guy.......
