As of now, there is only one cai for the V6 that gives proven gains. That is the Injen cai.

I flow with an Airaid and love it! Easy install, don't have to remove any OEM parts or get into your wheel well to install, no fear of being water swamped in case you run into a flood situation with it installed up high and inside it's own airbox sealed with the hood, it pulls cool air from the grill as OEM designed the original box, versus getting air closer to the ground where there could be more hot air closer to the pavement.
Just a matter of preferences. I'm not saying one is better than another there is only of anything. I do like the way Airaid looks and with this new V2 tube they have going, the performance is outstanding!
Stay thirsty and choose wisely my friend!

Wondering about this too. Are gains the same as the aftermarkets? Is it available anywhere?

Judging by the temps in JRE's test, Air Raid's design has the highest air temperature levels of all the intakes, soooo i think having it down lower in this case is much better. Some people may think the extra work in installing some of the intakes is worth it to have the better product.

What do ya think of this?

http://www.partswebsite.com/gmautopa...page=0&rcatid=

It's official GM, so I wouldn't think it would cause any warranty issues. Seems a little pricey?
