How to remove RTV from headlight?

Long story short, I need to reopen my headlights. My friend used some RTV to seal them. Anybody know how to reopen the headlight? Do I just use a heat gun and take it apart normally?

I really need some help. Thanks.

I just did mine and no heat gun won't work cause you need the whole housing hot where a heat gun only will heat certain spot.. I put it in the over at 250 for 15 min and it peeled off like butter using a flat head slowly

Ok so for future reference to anybody that faces the same problem, I used the heat gun on the low setting (1000 Watts) and I was able to pry the headlight lens off. The tricky (most annoying part) is getting rid of the RTV. In order to do this, get a single blade razor and cut through it. It won't remove everything but it gets the job done.

I would've used the oven method had my friend not used crimps to tie the wires together. I don't own anything to remove and replace the crimps so a heat gun was used.
