Missed this event but look forward to getting to meet some of you in the near future.
My car was expected to arrive Saturday but still no joy. I'm hoping to get the call tomorrow. Country Chevrolet in Warrenton has a RY 2LT that will sell for MSRP; I don't think they have even put it on the floor yet. They got it Thursday.

New Camaro + Car Show
Hey guys
Falls Chevrolet just got in there first Camaro It's a V6 with RS package. COLOR: Victory Red Auto I was allowed to look at the car today before they put it out on the show room (I have my car ordered here=SIM w/CGM rallies) Anyway the car looks great, I will post pictures once they get it cleaned up and on the floor. Any one close should come by and see Jackie Centers or Barry Deaton They also have a car show planned for May 26th at the dealer ship. Come on down maybe we can get Barry to throw on some burgers and dogs. Falls Auto Group Corbin, KY. :thum bup:

You can go to Herndon Chevrolet (Orange, VA 45 minutes away) and buy one for MSRP.

Just called one of the sales guy at Radley and said the car was for MSRP and then back tracked and said it was $1000 over. What a joke!!!

Another dealer that wants more than MSRP. No thanks.
One of my dealer's salesmen (not the one I'm dealing with) actually told me last week that only "good customers" can get the car for MSRP. The rest will be "MSRP plus"..... whatever that means. I seriously doubt that. I think he just wanted me to feel all warm and fuzzy about my car Luck for my dealer I'm a "good customer." Otherwise, I'd have been down the road to another dealer back in October. |

Again, from Paul: "We didn't auction it. Only ONE person came up with an offer and it was less than MSRP so we said forget it. There's no WAY we're letting this thing go for less than MSRP with THIS kind of demand." Sounds like there's not as much a demand for a RS V6 if only ONE person was willing to make an offer. Perhaps Radley's should RETHINK their standing on MSRP... Or take $2500 of that above MSRP money and buy themselves a clue (or a copy of Recession Economics 101).

May 6th comes earlier at dealerships that charge over MSRP. You know, before all the OTHER dealers (AT or BELOW MSRP) have theirs out on display.

The Richmond Nascar race was going on. The Manager stated they purposely released on the 2nd so they would not get to many customers. They still needed to sell the cars.
I went back on Tuesday and the car was still there. Sitting pretty at 1k over MSRP. I really appreciate them selling above MSRP...It gives me more time to go crawl through the car while waiting for mine from another dealer. I felt like a trunk monkey the other day. People were looking, and there I sat with the doors closed while listening to the stereo. Not moving out of the way to quickly.

Since THIS thread seems to be the only activity for our local area (Greater Fredericksburg, VA), who all did everyone go through to purchase?
If at Radley, who was/is your point of contact?
