We seem to continue to rehash the same old compaints/whines/concerns and explanations over and over again, and it's getting tiresome.

try to think of something new????

Yeah you're paying for it. But you haven't paid for it yet. The problem is that you're all acting like someone pissed in your cheerios because GM caught a problem with the car before they shipped. If I were waiting on this car, I'd be damn thrilled that they caught this issue before I got the car.

It's not some trivial issue with the car. It's something that they HAVE to get fixed before they ship them. That's why the Texas car that was shipped by mistake was tracked down and shipped back to GM.

Stop worrying and be thankful that GM cares enough about this car and it's customers to make sure that the damn thing is right before you get the keys!

Seriously...???

Are you losing money due to the car not being released...

Would you be the first in line to complain and start threads all over the forum if there was anything wrong with your ZL1.

Please be patient and try to realize that GM is probably just as if not more upset than you are. They want this car on the streets, but I for one applaud their sense of what is proper and right...

To release a car with potential problems is not good business...

As for telling the Moderators of this forum to go elsewhere or dictating how we will run this site..., let me ask you this...

Would you allow someone in your house and give them free rain to badmouth the very place you allowed them to enter... Your House...

We are charged with keeping the peace in here, and we will do so... We are trying very hard to be tolerant since we understand the frustration... but there is a limit... and then we can send those very people badmouthing the place we allowed entry HOME...

What it all boils down to is understanding there are much more important things in life than the delivery date of a new car....

I put off buying my car with an RPO vin... but it didn't happen... I opted to wait due to my wife's illness, did I begrude her for it... Certainly not... Then there were a couple of other things that came up to delay it but that's ok... I still got my dream car...

Patience Please... Allow Gm to deliver to you the best car they can at this time... rather than something you might have trouble with and end up with a bad taste in your mouth...

I understand... But this is more than just a car to me it's my life... Its all I have in single and will remain that way for the rest of my life due to my condition... So in not so lucky in the sense of "finer things in life" this car is all I have and yes I need it not want need period.

I agree. I am one of the luckiest son-of-a-bitches to ever live. These cars are a little hard to get. The wait will be worth it.

This is the best I could get from their customer service 5 minutes ago. Let's all hope it's March:

"The only time frame we have is the March 2012 time frame that I gave you. We are not being provided with very much information regarding production on the ZL1."

Ok that makes sense to me. I agree.

Waiting for your car, what you guys are going through is nothing.
My wife put a deposit down on my 2SS for me in 2006, and I waited untill 2009 to get it.
Well worth the wait!!!
And there were many cars held up for months in QC back in 2009 as well.
The guys waiting for those cars were really going crazy.
The early made ones got held up, production continued, customers with later built cars got theirs before the ones held up.
That's back in 2009 when there were only a few on the road, and the suspence was really killing people.
Waiting for a ZL1, you guys have it easy.
You'll get your car, and it will be awesome!!!!!

I think it's important to remember to be respectful of others, even if your views may be different, or if you don't like what they have to say, or if even if they have been rude to you.
on am on the fence about this. everybody has an opinion can post but I put about 0 stock in anyones opinion that doesn not have one or order. Maybe that makes me a piece of crap but it is how I feel.

pretty easy to be a cheerleader when you are not in the game.

you have a very different prespective when you have no stake/money tied up in the situation. Now when someone who has one on order tells me I am whinning I take it without any anger involved.

that being said there are plenty on here that are better people than me they don't even seem the least bit concerned. ohh I don't even want the car right now anyway it rained yesterday. ha ha. that is not how I am feeling. I want the car yesterday and I don't even have a PW.
