2014 Inner fender well liners different?

I noticed today that the back part of the front inner fender well liners are different on my new 2014 1LE. The driver's side is pointed and the passenger side is flush.

I am wondering if they are supposed to be different or mine got jacked up somehow. I can see if they are supposed to be different how the driver's side looks like it is designed to channel water or something.

Can someone go look at theirs and compare to the pictures below and see if they are the same as mine please? The passenger's side is is the first picture and the second picture is the driver's side.

That's not bad. I'd think you could gently tap that back into shape.

I cannot find any dents, scratches or scrapes. The screws seem to be held in place correctly. No loose areas can be pulled away either.

I bet it's plastic and that doesn't respond well to tapping. depends, I see it's a 14 and you would remember hitting something, if you haven't had it long I would take back and say it's deformed and you should get a new one as long as it's not torn or scratched

Any hints on trying to repair it? I was thinking about putting a hair dryer on the crease and trying to get it back into its original condition.

Looks to me like your tire tossed something up. The bottom fender screw holding the plastic is tilted downward. I'm thinking the metal mounting tab on the fender is just a little tweaked.

probably the same for a 14, not a lot of body change (or is there?) but I can promise I would have a new one in my car no matter the year because one thing I see on this forum is the pride everyone takes in their car.

I again encourage looking at the fender the liner is screwed into. You can see in the picture it is bent.

I would remove the two screws and see if I could pop it back in place then reinstall the screws.
