What is concerning to me is that less than 100K Camaros were built for the 2014 model year. That is not a big number. Hope GM keeps this ship going!

If you go by 2013 numbers your car may be rarer than that. SIM isn't a popular color for the 1LE. Looks badass to me but that's how the numbers ended up.

10-4. I thought the same thing myself - and pretty much typed it in my first post that fell into the Internet Black Hole... The 1LEs are all built by order, and while that may be true of all cars on some level, the demographic doing the ordering would not be the norm!

A 1SS SIM here too Add Recaros and NPP, was hoping to get some #s by color, looking to do a license plate> 1 of XX

Nice! My car was a dealer order. A customer came in and ordered one so the owner ordered another for the lot. It sat there for something like 4 to 6 months before I picked it up. It came with RS and NPP but no Recaros... that didn't bother me at the time, but after tracking the car back in August (and having another track day scheduled for November) I do kinda wish I had the manual Recaro versions now.

I was looking at used 2013's. Being able to get Recaros sealed the deal on a '14. I ordered it 4/14 and picked it up 6/2/14. I've tracked mine already and the Recaros are wonderful. In my old '95 Z28 I was holding on just to try a stay in the seat at the same track, Honestly, It did not occur to me initially that the Recaros were so perfect since I was not floppin' around!

Zero regrets on the SIM color choice!! It looks great in bright sunshine

Also, the "Population average" likely doesn't apply to the 1LE as a higher percentage of 1LE's are customer ordered.

If you want to test your theory, apply the averages to last years totals. The 1LE build count was broken down by color last year.

There were 1413 2SS 1LEs and 413 1SS 1LEs built in 2013 for a total of 1826 1LEs in 2013...

2468 in 2014 for an increase of 642 cars or an increase of 35%.
