How much would the Z28 have to cost for you to buy it?

Just wondering how much people here are willing to spend on the Z28 if it actually comes out (without dealer rip-offs). I remember being blown away at how cheap the SS was when it came out. I honestly expected it to be $40k or more. Hopefully Chevy will surprise us (in a good way) again.

I think you'll be surprised at the price...and not in a good way!

I think the BASE model price should be about 48K

I think it really depends on what the Z/28 is.... We really dont have enough info about the car so everything is a wild guess!

I believe the Z28 will not exceed the price of a CTS-V. If it does, then GM just fumbled the ball!

Arrow Voted

I say 44 to 46, I base it on the Corvette runs 48 to 49 new so the article said the price would be below the Vette.

Many 2010 GT500 buyers are getting theirs below MSRP already. Not a good sign.

Here is the real deal. If the Z/28 is a regular production car like the SS, we can get it for MSRP minus any kind of discount (supplier, military, USAA, etc). If its a limited production model, i.e., only X amount will be built, then the dealers will add a market adfjustment to the price. This is according to Reliable Chevrolet in Dallas...

I don't see GM making any money on a limited production though. Dealers will, but not GM.

Lets hope they ramp up LSA production so they can build as many as the market will demand, and make the money on volume!!!

45K

Will have less options than available on the SS but will have better suspension and an LSA.

35K, Bought Challenger yesterday because of the lifetime power train warranty and the awesome computer system. Still can't believe I did it
