Need some feedback on BA add on's... - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a pair JL audio 8's allready in a box and an phoenix gold amp and was wondering the the best way to add these on 2 my 2011 2SS being deleivered in 4-6 weeks. Im looking at the ******** 2010 RCA harness and it looks like an easy install to the factory amp to my new amp pushing the JL 8's in addition to the stock BA. This seems like the easiest and lowest cost solution, has anyone allready done this, and what were the results. Is there another way to implement my aftermarket amp and speakers that wont cost an arm and a leg?

I Used the entire ******** set up (their 2 12's enclosure with Kicker CVR's and a a Kicker 750.1)

Worked like a dream, the pnp harness probably only saved like 5-10 mins off the install but makes going back to stock incredibly easy, worth the money imo.

oh, and, 2 12's was probably too much for my needs, I have my bass on the head unit set at 0, and the remote bass knob put at about a quarter of the way up, and still sometimes get a little bit more bass than my tastes.
