Ya, my wheels now are 28.4 and 28.7 if I remember correctly. But you are right. If I want limited fender gap I'll hve to go a bit lower.

THEN we'll see if it 'Needs Lowering'...........

i had an altimeter setting of 30.30 while flying today.

and correct me if i'm wrong, but if he went with a little taller tire without changing the ride height, wouldn't that inherently remove some of the gap by having a larger diameter filling the wheel well?

then, if that ain't low enough, he can drop the suspension a bit

PQ:
I have 20x9.5 (front) and 20x11 (rear).
My tires are:
Nitto 555-R 305/35-20 (rear)
Nitto Invo 275/40-20 (front)

I wanted my speedometer to read properly on the highway. Also, I really didn't want my car to sit any lower for street driving. I know Pete is trying to help with performance, but my street wheels are a compromise.

I plan to get a set of 16" wheels for drag racing. I'll get back wheels to start with and see if I do a lot of racing. If I do, I'll probably get a pair of 16" skinnies for the fronts.

16" wheels over 14+" rotors & calipers? i thought it was a stretch to make 18"s work

If I go Forgeline I want 305s in front as well. Mainly because Forgeline can do it.

If I go Vossen then I'll go staggered because they CAN'T do 305s in front.

Hey,

I got a used real MANual transmission if you want it...Like your donk wheels, it doesn't work either.... It'll get you there in most cases... like those wheels on your car... but not the way you would expect...
