Possible to swap...?

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but I will ask anyway! I currently own a 1998 Firebird with a 3.8L engine. I was just curious, with some of the newer v6's being better and all, would it be possible (or worthwhile) to swap the engine? Thanks!

yes and no. depends on the v-6 motor. a lot of them are still the same with a few different things here and there. now the new ones with the Direct Injection on the other hand, that would be a badass swap. tho whats wrong with urs now? if ur gonna swap a motor for performance, why not put an LS1 in it?

Yes, you can swap. BUT, yes, you will have to swap out EVERYTHING else too..^^^tranny, rear end, radiator, alternator, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc...

If you are going to do a swap, just do like Spike said and toss in an LS1, LS2, etc. It doesn't have to be brand spankin' new, ya know!
