Camaro owners are better drivers than Mustang owners
It is a proven fact as of today. Well, it's my proven opinion, lol. The roads around here are just downright dangerous/ fun as hell. They're all curvy and full of blind curves, and parts where the shoulder (if you can even call it that) have fallen off, and the road isn't even wide enough to accommodate two big trucks, lol. But I digress:
I was coming home, and I was speeding...of course, when I went over a blind hill. Just over the top, I ran into a 5th gen Camaro, and we both slowed and got off the center line we were both riding, lol (broken shoulder) and we carried on about our days. Later on the same road, I was going around a blind curve, so I got into my lane. Suddenly a 2010 Mustang whips around WELL over the center line, he never slowed, swerved, or anything. I had to come to a complete stop and run off of the road to keep from hitting him. So it's official, we are better drivers, lol. |

From an engineering perspective, your experience could be the result of improved braking performance on the Camaros while the Mustang trails in braking. In effect, you can slow down much more quickly than any Mustang. In addition, your independent rear suspension gives you advantages in the twisties, allowing you to navigate around the Mustang while th Ford's live axle limits it to decent forward acceleration. In effect, the Mustang may not have been able to get into the other lane.
The other alternative is that, yes, we are better drivers.

Well since I'm drivin a 4th gen, and thus have no independent suspension, it must be the alternative option, lol

That's why someone is always posting pics of smashed up camaros, wheel rubs, and banging off curbs. I wouldn't say that. I was think just the opposite yesterday with all the threads of busted up camaros on here.

Yeha, the truth of it is, most of the people that buy either...or any sports car for that matter, can't drive for shit. It's usually just some dumbass with money.
