New Camaro Let Downs - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

First off, I'll say that the Camaro itself is no such thing sort of a let down, however, I think Chevy has. I have a few, few, small reasons that tick me off, but its not the Camaros fault.
1. The lack of ambient lighting across the dash makes it seem incomplete, but the door is way sweet. Mustang you can change the colors I think, but that doesnt make a differnce to me.
2. I personally never got the FYI on the Z28. I might have waited.
3. Little let down on the sound system, but again- its a Camaro not a Cadilliac. ( I actually traded my 05 STS for this car)
4. In the manual it talks about personal settings for the car (i.e. back up sensors), which are not avaible, at least not on MY model. Perhaps its an option that wasnt ordered, a package not included, not avail. in America, or hasnt been added YET but was put in the manual for the future models of Camaros.

Also, cant find 9 speakers, any insight? Also, can you disable the 1-4 shift mode?

1. You can do it yourself you really want to.
2. GM didn't know they would do it either.
3. Can't help you there.
4. Back up sensors were always planned for Camaro which is why it's in the manual.

the leather on my sit is rising up from the bottom does anyone has this problem
can GM fix this??

all I can help you with is the speakers....the reason you are not finding them all I bet you are coming up with 7, right? well gm is counting the 6x9 coaxils in back as 2 each, that is where they get 9 speakers.

and I don't know what you are refering to as far as 1-4 shift mode.

I love my car just the way it is, I am use to driving a 2500hd crewcab 4x4 with a duramax, my daily driver, so this car is just right by me

also, i paid almost 39k for my car, if theres something im not happy with, i think i paid the right to get frustrated about it.
