Roto-Fab BIG GULP

Hey Now,

Has anybody put the BIG GULP on their car? I put the CAI on about a week ago, and am pleased with it so far. No problems with lights coming on or anything, as promised in past forums. On the threads, the dyno results were obtained with the hood up. The Roto-Fab guys said that with the BIG GULP the results should be about the same. I just want to know if anybody has had good results or an opinion one way or the other with it.

I installed it at the same time as the CAI. It does run a little faster at the track with it on the open to filter setting. it was worth 2 mph and .1 in the 1/8th mile for me versus being set to the brake duct mode.

Its a really nice piece and worth the effort in my book.

thanks
anthony

Just to clarify the brake duct setting is to the left and the CAI setting is to the right correct?

I agree, the big gulp is a great addition to the Roto-Fab intake system. Just looking at the location of the factory W/W reservoir tells you it's in the way of air flow. So by removing that and channeling air to the intake system, I have no doubts you could achieve the same results at speed as you can on a dyno with the hood up.

I believe it's just the opposite.

Please feel free to call, PM or email me with any questions or Roto-Fab products. We have them in stock at great prices and free shipping

I just installed the Janetty Racing 75RWHP KIT
which included the Big Gulp Cai and lower pully.
I got 543.10 RWHP AND 564.12 RWT
Stock was 490 RWHP.
DEFINITELY WORTH THE $$$.

NO I HAD IT INSTALLED AT FINISH LINE AUTOMOTIVE AND PERFORMANCE HERE IN DENVER. JOHNNY SAID IT WAS A "BITCH" TO INSTALL THE LOWER PULLEY BUT I AM HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. I FORGOT TO ADD IN THE FUEL ADDITIVE SO THE NUMBERS WERE LOWER THAN THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN...91 OCTANE VS 97 OCTANE
WENT TO BANDIMERE SPEEDWAY AND TURNED A 12.61 AT 109.75 MPH AT A MILE HIGH....`11.77 @ 117.99 AT SEA LEVEL.

I WAS RUNNING 91 OCTANE AND 32 PSI IN THE REAR WHEELS. THE KIT IS DESIGNED TO BE RUN AT 97 OCTANE AND 25 PSI REAR WHEELS.
I WENT BACK AND ADDED THE TORCO FUEL ADDITIVE AND DROPPED THE TIRE PRESSURE TO 25 OCTANE TO @ 100 AND GOT 571 RWHP WHICH CAME OUT TO @ 80 + RWHP....THE KIT WORKS AS ADVERTISED.
