IOM interior - Anyone cover the orange plastic with leather?
For an IOM interior, is there anything out there or ideas on what to do with the orange plastic door panels and dash strip?
I love the IOM two toned seats, but the orange plastic has to go. The ambient lighting is worthless. If I turn it up bright enough to notice it, then my dash is too bright for night driving. So I have no problem sht canning the ABL. A friend of mine has an Audi TT with two toned orange and black leather interior, and his door panels have a matching leather piece that matches inserts in the seats. Anybody making orange leather covers for the door and dash pieces. Or maybe just black leather with orange stitching that matches the other orange stitching? |

I have mine wrapped in carbon fiber fabric, it you want it wrapped in that or any other color I can get a hold of I will trade you my covered ones for your painted ones

i bet there are alot of willing buyers for your inserts and ABLs in the doors... I know I would snap them up if I was looking to convert to the IOM interior. Wouldn't surprise me if you could get enough to cover your new insert cost.
