For those adding ZL1 spoilers..

How are you covering up your existing holes in your trunk lid?

you can use plastic plugs and seal them in, but I would go the expensive route and weld up the holes.

.... or find someone wanting to trade their trunk with no spoiler for yours with a spoiler. Same color is a plus.

When I purchased my ZL1 spoiler from Maureen at Rodgers Chevrolet, she threw in a handful of painted plastic plugs. They painted my all ZL1 stuff as well. You need three plastic plugs. I had a body shop drill all the holes for me and apply sealant under the plugs, etc. I did not want to go the expensive route by welding up the holes and painting my entire trunk.

I got lucky GM has a TSB for paint chipping on 2010 spoilers with contacting the deck lid my deck lip had several spots where the spoiler underside rubbed the paint off. The dealership drilled the new holes and filled in the old then repainted my deck lid at no cost to me

spoiler question

My camaro has been sitting at a bodyshop since Monday. I'm spending the extra $300 to weld the holes and repaint the trunk lid. I got bumper plugs on my front bumper from my license plate but I don't want them on my trunk lid

The trunk would've matched your front bumper. I used the extra $300 towards my suspension upgrade. Here's a close-up of the plugs, if it helps anyone.

The plugs would bug me. I'd swap with an LS owner or get them welded closed.

First let me say your car looks grate, so this is not to you but more the ZL1 spoiler, to me it does not look wright, if you look at the side there is a lot of room over the side and i dont like the fact you need to drill new holes, there has to be some thing that looks and fits wright.

I know this is kind of old but where did you get your plugs from. Also, not sure if it was you but did you get your spoiler from ebay?

Anyone know the GM p/n for those plugs (assuming there is one). Can you buy a few from a dealer?
