Seibon BB hood and ST trunk installed with pics..

All of the work is being done by Pro Tek in Charleston S.C there work is top notch, and while the pics look good it looks even better in person!! If anyone is interested in getting some work done PM me and I can give you the details to contact them. Ok so, I just had my new CF hood and trunk fitted and took some pics.. They are not completley aligned yet but I decided to snap a few pics anyway. The parts are being painted but will be leaving the stripes in CF and the rear blackout panel in CF. The grill on the hood will be painted matte black to match the main grill. I also have a set of gary's vented fenders, seibons CF BB front lip being installed. Feslers CF rear diffuser is on order as well. Anyway here are the pics so far (sorry for the bad quality).

If anyone is interested in getting any work done by Pro Tek here is the contact info. If you are not local you can send them your parts to get custom painted or airbrushed. I highly recommend them, if you can dream it up they can do it. Tell them Justin sent you and they will get you hooked up.

Here are some pics of the parts installed, they are not fully aligned yet and the car is still being worked on as we speak but you can get an overall view of what it will look like when finished. When I get the car back I will get some good pics up.

(Hood is open in this pic)

You said "They are not completley aligned yet", but how does fit look? Do you think there are any issues of the hood not matching up the same way the stock one did?

The hood will line up nicely once it is done being adjusted, but I would definitely recommend having a professional install it so it can be tweaked and adjusted right. The guy that is doing the install has been doing this for a long time and knows all the little tricks to get it right. The trunk on the other hand would not line up 100% without modification.. It was not to bad but at the corner of the quarter panel right above the taillights, the trunk is recessed in further that the panel.. It isnt to bad but we came up with an idea to put something in between the trunk and the body to push it out to match up, kind of like a spacer. I havent seen the final fitment but with what we came up with im sure it will look good. When it is finished I will post detailed pics of the fitment as well as the "spacer" setup we used for the trunk.

The trunk won't be perfect, but it'll be good enough that most people won't notice a small thing here or there.

Are you going to keep them bare or paint them SIM to match? I personally never liked the mismatch CF to car color. It can be pulled off with certain colors, but this doesn't flow to me. I like the hood and trunk, don't get me wrong. I just prefer matching especially on a color like silver. Plus I would do a mail slot fill since the hood has one too.

nonetheless

I love cf body panels.... when they are painted.

Looks great but IMO paint them and just enjoy the weight savings.

They are being painted to match, but there will be stripes left in carbon fiber. This was just a mock up to see how they fit before paint.

Thanks. I havent actually measured it but it seems to be same as stock, other than the added scoop of course.
