So Dealer Says...

Squeaky brakes on the ss are definitely normal and they squeak because they're brembo performance brakes and the ss is a performance car so u give up the quietness of regular brake pads for the performance and extra hp vs a v6.. go figure

My brembo' don't make any noise and they should not make any noise. Try a different dealer.

I believe this could be moved to one of the dumbest things a dealer has told you thread. Don't listen to them, just find a dealer that wants to get it fixed and keep you happy.

This is what I was aiming at dumbest thing ive heard from these guys and still have stock setup with 9k miles and problem started a month after buying the car 1 year almost to the day ago

They told me same thing. :/ eventually the squeak stopped...or maybe I dont notice it

Early brembo's had this issue on the Camaro. There were weights they hung in there to try and solve the problem early on but then came the re-design pads that look like roller skates with the "harmonic dampers" that actually did solve the problem to a great degree.
