I am rather surprised they stayed true to the concept with things like the engine cover, gauges, the interior door panels where the ambient lights will be, and the orange seat stitching for example. Last edited by SoFlaZ; 10-22-2008 at 03:08 PM. |

Anyone who has seen the car with the hood open .. how far back does the engine go? Are we screwed for a top mount supercharger setup? Crowley

I dont like the look of the engine cover, looks like it should have a Transformers emblem on it. I want to see the LS3 in my Camaro, not a cover that looks like an intake manifold with valve covers. The Vette style covers would be better. |

btw.... thanks to everyone for the pics. i think ive seen what I need to. ATTN: TAG.....I believe I am right about what we talked about on the phone a few weeks ago.... i gotta do some reference measurements to make sure, but if everything measures out.....we should be good to go. just keep your eyes peeled and ill let you all in on what im thinking if it works.

I like that they did stay true to the concept but like it was said before I dont like how the cover blocks the whole engine. I deff like the Corvette covers but I will probably go without the cover.
Crowley, whats gonna happen to the 135 after you get your Camaro?!? Greg, you better let us know what you are up to once you figure it all out. And ur sig link???? At least it wasn't a rick roll or w/e. |

ok everyone....
why would I want pics of the engine bay and underside?
black5thgen hit it on the head, but no one else seemed to notice.... Long Tube headers. anyone with a 4th gen camaro (LT1 or LS1) knows how much of a PITA it is to install LT's. well, after doing some reference measurements and checking on everythings location under the hood of this car. long tube header swaps are going to be cake. at first the steering shaft would seem to be in the way... but based on its location away from the stock manifolds, we shouldnt even have to worry about it. also there is the front suspension... thats easy to get past. then there's the fitment under the body. well, with those nice big catalytic converters on the car, that leaves plenty of room to fit some LT's in there. now of course to keep the cats (to stay legal) you'll have to get something fabbed up in there like high flow cats with a fitting on there to bolt/clamp up to the LT's then going onto the x-pipe. and it gets better.... but you'll have to wait to see what the kicker is. Tag.... i think we're going to put some money down to test my theory....
