switch to Vararam
so ive been looking at what to do for my next performance mod, and getting hearders or ported intake manifold is out (cause of the core deposit and labor for headers installed) so i wanted your thoughts on is it worth switching to Vararam, i know some of you guys have switched and wanted to know your impressions between what you had before and the Vararam. I currently have the K&N aircharger, and ive had it for a year and half now.

The vararam is a monster! I had an airaid with the holes drilled for more air and i switched to the vararam. Luckily, I got to swap for free since i sold my airaid for what I bought my vararam for. The swap was totally worth it! The difference could totally be felt. My airaid used to give up at around 70 mph and the vararam keeps pulling! Also, I felt a way better throttle response with the vararam.

Glad to see some positive words on the VR. That is the one I'm leaning towards. Just not many fans on 'here'.

The only dislike for the VR was because some people had fitment issues early on. Those issues are still possible I guess, but we don't really hear about them any more.
I went from the AirRaid to the VR and was very happy. Improved performance...especially at highway speeds and the sound of the exhaust also improved.

Yes but headers are a pain to do lol. I love doing my own mods but after installing one set of headers on my uncles car, I'm paying for the install when and if I get mine.
