Now THAT sounds great. Best I've heard so far. Makes me wonder, though, if larger diameter pipes from the cat back could sound a little deeper.

I'm pretty beat after driving 3 hours back home but maybe i'll get some video shot after I get some dinner. If not this evening, there will be a video tomorrow for everyone to enjoy!
Great meeting all of you too. Bet you guys are glad to have Merlin back! I don't think I've ever seen that many Corvette's ever, pretty amazing! Look forward to see how your video turns out.

fixxer56- Corsa machines all their own parts so the mufflers are made right there in Berea, OH at their shop. So those multi-layered beauties you see the cross-sections of on their website are custom made for each system they sell.

Guys - this is a wonderful family-run American company that settles for nothing less than the best in their materials and workmanship. It took them two weeks and hundreds of miles driven on Merlin to get it just the way they wanted it.

As far as adding different diameter pipes, Fire, I have no clue. The Corsa folks build high-end exhaust systems for a living and I'm gonna trust their judgement as to the pipes :-)

The sound of my car is now unbelievable - when we revv'd it up at the car show being held at Corsa yesterday people came running as they swore they heard a Ferrari being fired up! Yes, amidst hundreds of Corvettes and Mogoose Motorsports vehicles Merlin was a head-turner.

No info yet on their website as they just took pics and are still working the price. The V8 version runs $1599 retail and I was told the V6 version may run $100 less but probably not much less than that as both systems use approx. the same amount of material & labor to produce.

To those questioning the price: you get what you pay for when it comes to exhaust systems. Corsa uses only top-grade stainless, and as I plan on keeping this car forever, not having to worry about corrosion etc. is just fine by me :-)

Anybody know how to turn a 2010 Camaro exhaust system into a piece of modern yard art?! I don't want to make room in my garage for this huge thing!

scrap it might get a few bucks

unless you plan on trading the car back in to the dealer at some point they may give you a lil more if you put it back to stock

LadyinBlue, thanks for the info. I was just trying to get an idea what they were using for my own research to view similar products on their web site. I've heard nothing but praise for their systems from guys I know.

Gentry78 - nobody's getting my car until I'm dead, and then it's RS_Man's :-) So no worrying about putting it back to stock to sell/trade in. Merlin's part of the family now.

fixxer56 - no problem. I toured Corsa's shop and saw them in action building systems so I'm pretty sure they make all their own stuff. I should be able to get some more photos posted soon - the first thing that should impress you from those are the mufflers. No more things that look like silver WWII gas cans- just strong, clean stainless steel kahonas!

mike25 - as far as I know there is only one system now for the V6/no touring vs sport performance versions.

No TT or anything else for Merlin that will void the warranty - so I couldn't resist a free Corsa exhaust in exchange for a little time and a bit of mileage.
However, once the warranty's gone I'm gonna have more than just a little bit of fun with what's under Merlin's hood :-)

You guys reel me in with the sound and then destroy me with the price I really want my car to sound better than stock but it just isn't worth over $1500 to me to do it. Like I said that is just me. Sounds great though.
