It's not my DD but I do drive it on the street a lot and occasionally the drag strip so I need some thing street/drag friendly.

Thanks for you input!
Since your asking which clutch is BEST I would respectfully say the Street Slayer....While it's not a cheap clutch it is however a great value. It is rebuild able down the road for a fraction of the cost. The Street Slayer is designed for the heavy 5th gen and it's sub par hydrolics. Do it once do it right the first time with a Street Slayer....Give us a call anytime and we can go over the Street Slayer that's right for you.

I have the Monster LT1-SC. So far it's performing great. Haven't got to beat on it yet. I had a Street Slayer clutch. Thought I was doing it right and wouldn't have to mess with it again. It drove great and I was happy with it until it fell apart at CamaroFest and cost me a trophy.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Street Slayer while you had it.Its unfortunate you had an issue. You melted the disc apart which can only happen if the heat gets up to over 450 degrees, which is well higher than any normal clutch function.Altho it wasn't a CLUTCH issue we did rebuild it at no charge

Car had plenty of cool down time. Have video of the race from the car showing there wasn't excessive slipping. Clutch fell apart. Your advertisement says it can withstand temps over the melting point of steel. There is nothing I did to cause it to fall apart. I may have just had a defective one, but I knew if it happened again, it wouldn't be covered so I opted to try something else.

I wish I could make it. Texas is too far away for me and I don't have money to spare at the moment.
