And there is a special adhesive to bond the flare on securely to the wheel well perimeter in places. Note there is a tab that engages to the Z28 rocker and also a front fitting on the flare the engages in to the Z28 splitter at the front. It is tricky to get the flares installed perfectly and securely. There are threads on technique to install.

Thanks..... you wouldn't happen to have the links?

Again, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I cant find anything on install, removal.

I'm pretty sure US federal law mandates that auto manufacturers maintain adequate parts (either by stocking them or being able to reproduce them) for any vehicle sold in the US for no less than 13 years. Imagine the decimation of Z/28 resale value if GM stopped making ANY of the car's parts (meaning that even so much as a fender-bender would no longer be repairable).

While people might be out of stock, I wouldn't believe anyone who said that GM "stopped making them".
