Hope you got it at a very good price for that mileage. 7.3 or not, that's a ton of miles on a truck.

the price was good. it has brand new 38 inch toyo open countrys and 8 inchs of lift. and the 07 Front end conversion.

I think the point many are making is that the truck had a huge number of miles on it. You're talking about cosmetic improvements here, not imrovements to the components that really matter. The transmission is having issues because it's a risk you take when you buy a high mileage vehicle.

Sort of what I was thinking and didn't say. Take a high mileage truck and put even more load on the drivetrain by installing 38" tires and 8" lift which increases pinion angles which cause more stress and hope that it stays together.

well its fixed now. worst case... I sell it and move on. Im not bitching about the truck by any means.... I was complaining about the situation as a whole. but Im keeping a positive attitude..... least Im trying too haha
