Although, a gas nozzle will fit in a diesel receiver. On occation people will put gas in their diesel car... and well, you can guess what happens...

If you put E85 in there, fill the tank with regular gas to dilute it. Keep doing this as you burn fuel and before you know it, the E85 will be long gone. Continue living life.
