When making a phone call using Bluetooth do people complain they can't hear you?

I love using my Camaro Bluetooth for making phone calls. I have worked on aircraft for a very long time and don't hear as well as I used to. Listening to callers over the audio speakers is awesome. Unfortunately, the people I am speaking to dont feel the same way. They cant hear me, or I sound far away, etc. (of course this is with the top up).

I use an iPhone and before that a blackberry with the same results so I am thinking the microphone either sucks or it is just not working right. Any one else having this issue?

I haven't had this issue, even with the top down. It could be that your mic is bad and needs to be replaced.

Try having someone call you from inside the car and see what you think of the volume

The only issue I have is that there's a slight delay. Maybe a second or two. Just enough to be annoying.

The only time anyone said anything was with the window down, then just minor. Just like Denis said, you usually have to say hello twice with the delay.

Had top down yesterday and there were no issues at all! I am impressed with how good it sounds so far. Perhaps like others say there is a mic problem....just make sure you are talking loud and clear...tons of ppl mumble(mother in law being one) and that makes it tough to hear on these things.

It seems to get worse as time goes on. When I first got the car it was great. Now people only hear every three words. Initially I thought it was AT&T to blame but now you guys have me wondering if its the car.
