LS3 starter location?

Does anyone know where the starter bolts to the LS3 motor? Searched all over the internet but can not find an answer. I am installing an LS3 in a 1969 RS/SS. I have a 2010 Camaro and still don't see where the starter is bolted onto the block.

Yes I know where the starter bolts to.......your engine!!!! GET IT?!?!?!

Maybe somewhere under the car? Close to the transmission? Maybe even closer to the flywheel? Maybe its just one of seven wonders of the world? Maybe you should find an ancient Mayan person to help you locate your starter with a sun dial?

ORRRRR

You could go to autozone, buy a jack and jack stands, and return home to now jack your car up with the pretty new equipment you just purchased and play hide and seek!!!

Wait theres more....

Go back to autozone and buy a drop light because they tend to be very useful while working on and around a vehicle. Make sure you buy a good one. Cheap tools suck. But then thats all they offer at autozone....cheap stuff for high prices.....Snap On dealers rule.

Better than a drop light are those work lights on stands you can raise up and an accompanying one that sets on the ground. Lights up like the sun.
